European Fashion Hits Carytown Cameron WalkerSince as long as I can remember I’ve always really enjoyed shopping. The more money I can spend on great clothes, the happier I am in life! (And, I say this with the biggest smile.) I often refer to myself as a shopping addict. Sylish clothes that others don’t have are what I crave the most. Recently, I was asked to do a focus piece for MashUp that required me to check out a new boutique in Carytown called Eurotrash. I immediately fell in love. The boutique’s location, fashions, and owner screamed nothing less than fabulous to me. Beautiful dresses, stylish tops and fitting pants hung from the racks just waiting to come alive. Following a quick interview with Anne Hughes, Eurotrash’s owner, I had learned a great deal about the wonderful clothes that decorated the store walls. The store features all European designers. With over 8 different designers, two of which being eco-conscious, I learned about designers Jordi Labanda, Oxmo, Nanushka (featured in November’s InStyle Magazine), Kersh (eco-conscious), Covet (eco-conscious), Majorette, Nougat, and Rinascimento. After browsing the racks, I found myself in the dressing room trying on numerous outfits. Every outfit was unique in its own way, fitting my body perfectly and made with great fabrics and prints. Right then and there I knew I had fallen head over heels in love with Eurotrash. Like my love for Europe, European fashion had just been reunited in my life by taking a short road trip to Carytown (a lot cheaper than a flight to Italy I must say)! So for all of you shopaholics out there I recommend you take a trip to Carytown and check out Eurotrash. Also, if you would like to see some of the great outfits I tried on, take a look at http://www.mashuprva.com at the ShopRVA Focus Piece. I would also like to thank Anne for the great opportunity to try on such beautiful clothes and to learn about the great designers! Eurotrash
