2008 Pumpkin Festival at Chesterfield Berry Farm Courtesy of the Chesterfield Berry Farm October 11 and 12, 2008 We are celebrating Fall Harvest Season with our Pumpkin Festival. New this year is our Haunted House Corn Maze answer the 20 question about Halloween and pumpkins to help navigate your way through our corn maze plus win prizes. Also go through our new Scary Fun Barn which is sure to scare even the bravest. Join in all the family fun with games, hayrides, and lots of pumpkins from 10am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Admissions to the farm range from $5 General admission, $10 premium admission, and $19 Super Pass which includes a free pick your own pumpkin. There will be wine tasting with Peaks of Otter Winery, our mascot Jack the Pumpkin and his sidekick Jill the Scarecrow will be at the farm playing games with the kids, also barrel train rides, wagon train rides, moon bounce, duck races, corn cannon, pirates cove, gyroshpere, animal corral, pig races and much more. Plus check out all the homemade BBQ, coleslaw, lipsmackin beans and try our pumpkin milkshakes for dessert. Chesterfield Berry Farm is about 20 miles west of Richmond. From Richmond take Rt. 360 west. Continue 15 miles from city limits or 8 miles from Brandermill. Turn right(after passing flashing lights) on Skinquarter Rd., and continue 2.5 miles to Pear Orchard Rd. Turn left on Pear Orchard Road and continue 4.5 miles to farm. Chesterfield Berry Farm Farmily originally started as a dairy and tobacco farm. The farm became a pumpkin farm in 1983. The family has been farming for over 100 years.
