I’ve been thinking.  These are three words my husband is not fond of hearing from me.  He says, ‘How come whenever you tell me you’ve been thinking, somehow it costs me money?’  Well, I’m neither confirming or denying the truth in that statement.  Usually it’s true somehow, but not always.  Nowhere close to always is what I say here.

But I have been thinking.  And in this case, no cash is involved at all.  I’ve been thinking about fact vs. fiction.  Truth vs. lies.  Myth vs. reality.  I have a list of things I’ve been thinking about, for better or worse, the following:

1. Who says moles on the face are ‘signs of beauty?’

2. Is a small lie, the same as a big lie?  (yes, it’s still a lie)

3. Does size matter?  I say it does, depending on what you’re talking about.

4. Can you ‘grow’ to love someone?  I think it’s possible.

5. Do you have to choose republican or democrat, can’t you be a little of both?

6. Do good guys really finish last?

7. Is honesty really and truly the best policy?  I say yes, but sometimes, we see in the headlines that honesty isn’t always the thing that triumphs over evil.

8. Which brings me to my next thought - does good triumph over evil?  I would hope so.

9. When one pays ones debt to society, are they then really off the hook?

10. What are ‘white’ lies? 

11. Is that American student on trial for murder in Italy guilty?

12. What’s more important, nature, or nurture?

13. Are we really all separated by six degrees?

14. Do we really have one soul mate, or are there more?

15. Is it fair to ask couples to love each other, contractually, until ‘death do they part?’

16. Are romantics doomed?

17. Is it unfair that gay marriage is illegal?  I say it’s totally unfair, I tell my husband, ‘hey, if we can get married, anyone should be able to.’

18. Is blogging weird, having strangers read your thoughts?  Kind of.  But I appreciate it.  You’re dolls.  All of you.  And I’m grateful.
