Richmond’s Earth Day Festival

WHAT: This event features all things green, organic and earthy including art, food, activities, music and more.

EVENTS:
• Environmental exhibits, non-profit demonstrations
• Music (2 stages)
• Art - Fine Art and Crafts
• Education (about the river, the environment, green homes and more)
• Arbor Day planting, trees and urban forestry
• Bike, pedestrian and transportation activities
• Children activities - games and art and even pony rides

ALSO: Enjoy the 14th Street Fish Festival at the bridge (fishing, food, science and recreation). Do you want to see the Bosher Dam fishway in action? There will be tours of the Fish Ladder leaving from the Fish Festival. Bus tour tickets made available, they’ll take as many as they can.

DATE: April 19, 2008

TIME: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

WHERE: South of the Mayo Bridge (14th Street Bridge) at the Floodwall in downtown Richmond. Manchester neighborhood between the south end of the Mayo Bridge, along Hull street, up to Art Works (320 Hull Street).
