Summer is here. This is the time that we start cranking up the grill, increasing our outside activities and most of all, traveling. Whether you’re planning a girls getaway, a family vacation or some alone time – here are a few tips to keep you stress free.
Flying?
If you plan on shopping, take an extra piece of luggage. It would be much easier, and cheaper to pack your new treasures in the “empty suitcase” vs. cramming them in your already full suitcase or struggle with carrying many bags aboard.
Driving?
Keeping your ones occupied during road trips can be quite a challenge. Have you tried:
Giving your little angels a map detailing the route to your destination. The kids will enjoy identifying landmarks, counties/cities and the route.
Locating school playgrounds and parks that are on the way to your destination. This will give the kids a place to get out the wiggles and you a place to stretch.
Bringing along photo albums. Photo albums have the potential to bore most people senseless. Kids on the other hand, find it entertaining to view pictures of their friends and family.
