Calling all train lovers!  Spread the word!  There is indeed a real red caboose in the area!  It is located right smack in front of Robious Elementary School in Midlothian, not far from Bellgrade Shopping Area. 

As you are driving down Polo Parkway off Huguenot Road going towards Robious Road, take your last right onto Robious Crossing Drive.  Then drive about a mile and pass Robious Middle School on the right.  Voila there is Robious Elementary next door on the right with the big ole caboose in front.  You seriously can’t miss it.  If you do miss it, you are probably legally blind and shouldn’t be driving.  It really is just that eye-catching.

So, on the recommendation of my trusty neighbor Ted, a true train lover extraordinaire, I set off with the Saminator.  Needless to say, he was beyond thrilled to climb over every inch of that caboose that he could possibly reach.  What a find!  I only wish I had come across it earlier since it is a fun free activity only five minutes away.  Well, we’ll just have to make up for lost time!
