Cold = Movie

Is it just me or are there 0 good movies out there?  This winter is so cold that I find myself either wanting to stuff my face with obscene amounts of food (I have convinced myself this is some sort of ancient internal hibernation mode that I have tapped into) and watch movies.  I love to read and I am reading a new book, having moved on from Twilight yet not the vampire theme…Dead until Dark…but I do like getting lost in a movie.  The last good one I watched was Death at a Funeral and it was HILARIOUS!  Now, nothing else compares…

I am in need of some suggestions.  I have not yet watched the Dark Knight…I am saving that one because I know it will be good.  I want something light and funny or dark, intense and action packed.  I don’t want any sad crap, Bucket List junk.  No, I can turn on the news to want to kill myself.  I want something refreshingly silly.  So, if you have not watched Death at a Funeral then you are in for a treat.  If you are on the conservative side then you may want to pass but if you like to live or have lived a bit non-conservatively then you will so appreciate this film.

I am currently praying for some serious snow.  I feel like we deserve it after all this cold weather we have had to endure.  I would love to have a day where we are just shut inside, the streets closed all the milk and bread gone from the shelves.  I don’t care if it’s only an inch as long as it is enough to shut ‘er down.  Apparently, we might get some Tuesday so let me know of something interesting to rent.  Anything to avoid the news…
